At St Paul’s, our journey into Flexible and Agile Learning continues to evolve as we create dynamic learning spaces that support the development of future-ready skills. These spaces are designed to empower students to take greater ownership of their learning and to nurture key skills such as curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and communication through deeper engagement with the curriculum.
Agile Learning Labs have been established across the school to align with students’ developmental stages and to support targeted skill development. These environments encourage students to become active participants in their education, fostering independence and confidence. We warmly invite families to arrange a visit and experience firsthand how students are thriving in these innovative spaces.
This approach is strongly supported by current educational research. A paper released by Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ) highlights the growing importance of equipping students with 21st century skills to help them navigate an increasingly complex and interconnected world. It emphasises the need to position students as co-designers of their learning experiences, making education more relevant and engaging.
ISQ Executive Director David Robertson noted that while there has been significant focus on addressing the crowded Australian Curriculum, there is now a growing call to give more attention to general capabilities such as critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability, ethical understanding, and intercultural understanding—skills that are increasingly valued by employers and essential for real-world success.
We’d love to show you what makes our school so special. Book a personal tour with our Enrolments Officer and experience the vibrant, nurturing environment of our primary campus firsthand.
