Community @ St Paul’s

At St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, we believe in the power of community. Our school is proud to foster strong, supportive connections with a variety of local institutions, creating a network where students, families, and staff can thrive together.

Strong Partnerships

Our community is enriched by close ties with several key organizations: Kindergarten – We work hand-in-hand with our kindy to ensure a smooth transition for our youngest learners as they join St Paul’s. Grace Lutheran College Caboolture – We share a strong relationship with Grace Lutheran College, providing opportunities for our senior students to connect with their future peers and experience the next stage of their educational journey. St Paul’s Church – As part of our Lutheran foundation, we have a close relationship with St Paul’s Church, where students are encouraged to grow in their faith, engage in church activities, and serve the community. Aged Care – We are also actively involved with local aged care facilities, where our students participate in intergenerational activities, learning valuable lessons about empathy, respect, and community connection.

Volunteering Opportunities

Our school thrives with the involvement of our dedicated community members. Parents, carers, and other volunteers are an integral part of life at St Paul’s, helping to enrich the learning experience for all students. Volunteering opportunities are available across many areas of school life: Sports – Help support our sporting events, coach teams, or assist with gala days and carnivals. Classrooms – Volunteer as a classroom helper, assisting teachers with reading groups, projects, and activities. Excursions & Camps – Accompany students on school excursions and camps, providing extra hands to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Parents & Friends Group

The Parents and Friends Group organises and runs the school’s various fundraising ventures. Many of these are regular events on the school calendar e.g. our mothers’ day stall and chocolate drive. The Parents and Friends Group is comprised of parents and family members of school students and donates their time and energy as volunteers. The funds raised by this group go directly towards identified projects and equipment to continually improve the learning environment for all the children. All parents are welcome to become a member of this group. Parents, Caregivers and Grandparents are welcome to join our P&F Facebook Page. This Facebook Group is Administrated by the Parents & Friends Group with the intention of sharing ideas and information within the school community. Additional information regarding this group can be found a the following link: Guidelines for the P&F Group Facebook Page. The Parents and Friends Annual General Meeting is held at the beginning of every year in March.

Annual Volunteer Registration Form

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students, all volunteers are required to complete an Annual Volunteer Registration Form. This form ensures that our volunteers meet necessary compliance, safety, and child protection requirements. By filling out this form, volunteers help us maintain a safe, secure environment for our students and ensure that all necessary background checks and safeguarding measures are in place. At St Paul’s, we believe that the strength of our community lies in the active participation and shared commitment of all its members. By working together, we create a vibrant, supportive environment where students can grow, learn, and succeed.
