This term, the students in Year 4 were provided five weeks of learning opportunities in programming EV3 robots. This was an introduction to the school’s robotics program and the Year 4 digital technology curriculum, promoting critical thinking, problem solving and cooperative learning, In conjunction with programming steps, students gathered data, analysed the robot’s movements and made modifications to meet success criteria. Students kept a journal explaining the process.
