Commitment to Child Safety and Wellbeing

At St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. We have zero tolerance for child abuse or harm, and are committed to creating a school community where children feel safe, valued, and respected.

We listen to children, take their concerns seriously, and support them to have a voice in decisions that affect their lives. We empower children to speak up and know that they will be heard.

We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and inclusion of all children, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, children with disability, and children who may be more vulnerable. We hold a strong and ongoing commitment to the cultural safety of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, recognising and respecting their history, culture, and identity.

Our staff and volunteers follow clear policies and procedures designed to keep children safe, and they receive regular training to ensure they understand and meet their responsibilities.

This statement is displayed publicly as a reminder of our shared responsibility to protect, nurture, and empower every child at St Paul’s.
