At St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, we believe the arts are a vital part of a well-rounded education. Our Arts @ St Paul’s program provides students with dynamic opportunities to explore music, visual arts, and performance in a supportive, creative environment.
Students are encouraged to discover and grow their musical talents through a range of experiences:
We offer individual or small group lessons in a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar, flute, strings, percussion, and more. Lessons are held during the school day and are taught by specialist instructors. Limited places are available, and lessons are fee-based.
Students learning instruments are invited to join our instrumental ensemble, where they build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills while making music together.
As part of our curriculum, Year 3 students take part in a focused strings program that introduces them to instruments such as the violin, guitar, and ukulele in a hands-on group setting.
Our choral program includes opportunities for students of all ages to sing in ensembles that foster vocal technique, musical expression, and a love of performance. Senior and junior choirs rehearse regularly and perform throughout the year.
Students with a passion for contemporary music can participate in groups like our school rock band, where they rehearse, collaborate, and develop their musical creativity.
The Arts @ St Paul’s program includes a variety of performance opportunities throughout the year, such as concerts, assemblies, chapel services, and community events. These experiences allow students to share their creativity and develop valuable public speaking and performance skills.
At St Paul’s, the arts help us celebrate each child’s individuality and provide a rich foundation for confidence, communication, and joy in learning. Whether on stage, in rehearsal, or at the easel, students are supported to grow their gifts and shine.
We’d love to show you what makes our school so special. Book a personal tour with our Enrolments Officer and experience the vibrant, nurturing environment of our primary campus firsthand.
