iPad Program at St Paul's Lutheran Primary School
At St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, we are committed to preparing our students for a future enriched by technology. Since 2010, we have integrated a one-to-one iPad program for students from Year 1 to Year 6, fostering responsible and effective use of digital tools in learning.
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) for Years 1 to 6
For students in Years 1 to 6, we operate a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program, allowing families to select iPads that best suit their needs. We recommend choosing iPad models compatible with the latest iPadOS updates. Students in Years 1 to 4 should opt for models with a minimum of 64GB storage, while those in Years 5 and 6 should consider models with at least 128GB.stpaulslps.qld.edu.au
Essential Accessories
It’s important to ensure that headphones are compatible with the chosen iPad model. Please note that Bluetooth headphones or keyboards are not permitted for NAPLAN testing for Years 3 and 5 students. Additionally, each iPad should be housed in a protective case and clearly labeled with the student’s name.stpaulslps.qld.edu.au
Setup Procedures
To integrate the iPad into our school’s network and resources, please follow these steps:
Agreement Acceptance: Log into the Parent Lounge to accept the Internet & Digital Technology Agreement.
Apple ID: Ensure you have an Apple ID to install necessary applications
Installation: Download and install the Intune Company Portal app from the Apple App Store.
Configuration: Follow the "iPad Setup Guide" provided by the school to connect to our resources and applications.
