At St Paul’s Lutheran Primary School, we are committed to providing a well-rounded education that fosters both academic excellence and personal growth. Our specialist subjects are designed to enrich our students’ learning experiences and equip them with essential skills for the future.
Our activity-based Japanese program introduces students from Prep to Year 6 to the language and culture of Japan. This program enhances linguistic abilities and promotes cultural appreciation, helping students develop flexible and creative thinking. Topics covered include greetings, numbers, family, animals, weather, and traditional folk tales.
Music is a vital part of our curriculum, offering students opportunities to explore rhythm, melody, and performance. Our program emphasizes listening skills, creativity, and collaboration, fostering a lifelong appreciation for music.
Our Arts program encourages students to express themselves through various mediums, including visual arts, media arts, dance, and drama. This curriculum fosters imagination, critical thinking, and cultural appreciation, allowing students to explore and develop their artistic talents.
We believe in promoting active lifestyles and well-being. Our HPE program provides students with opportunities to engage in various sports and physical activities, teaching them the importance of teamwork, resilience, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The library is a hub of discovery and creativity at St Paul’s. Through our weekly library lessons, students immerse themselves in book culture, exploring a world of literature across genres. Under the guidance of our dedicated teacher librarian, students not only have the chance to borrow books but also develop a love for reading, storytelling, and learning. These lessons foster curiosity, imagination, and a deeper connection with books, providing a foundation for lifelong learning.
