Prep

Starting Prep at St Paul’s marks the beginning of a nurturing, whole-school journey that can take your child from their very first day right through to Year 12, in partnership with Grace Lutheran College Caboolture. It’s more than just a place to learn—it’s a connected, caring community where staff and parents work together to support each child’s growth.

Our purpose-built Prep facility

Our purpose-built Prep facility is designed with early childhood learners in mind, offering two vibrant classrooms and a semi-separate space that gently eases children into the rhythms of big school while keeping them closely connected to the wider campus. With small class sizes, every child is truly seen and heard, guided by both a dedicated Teacher and Learning Assistant in each room.

Prep Curriculum

From day one, Prep students enjoy a rich and varied curriculum that includes specialist subjects such as Health and Physical Education, The Arts, Music, and Japanese. They also participate in the Read Write Inc. literacy program and Number Talks for numeracy, building strong foundational skills in fun and engaging ways. A unique Gross Motor Skills program, specifically designed for Prep, supports physical development through active movement activities. Weekly library visits and participation in Worship and Wellbeing on Fridays round out a balanced and enriching school experience.

Nurturing

At St Paul’s, we focus on nurturing not just academic readiness, but also emotional resilience, social skills, and a lifelong love of learning. It’s a place where children are encouraged to be curious, compassionate, and confident—supported by a strong foundation that sets them up for success throughout their educational journey.
